Hamburg, April 1, 2025 – Today, Bauer Media Group announces the completion of its acquisition of Clear Channel Europe-North (“Clear Channel Europe”), a significant player in the Out of Home (“OOH”) media sector.  This follows the receipt of all approvals required and satisfaction of all regulatory conditions.

Bauer Media takes a key step in its strategy by completing the acquisition of Clear Channel Europe, strengthening its core media-related businesses and unlocking new digital opportunities.  Under the name ‘Bauer Media Outdoor’, the company adds Out of Home advertising to Bauer Media’s offering, which is a strong strategic fit with its existing Audio and Publishing divisions.

The acquisition supports Bauer Media’s commitment to delivering highly impactful media experiences and driving industry innovation. Advertising partners and customers will achieve significant benefits from Bauer Media’s enhanced offering and greater reach, delivered through its 200 magazine brands, 150 Audio brands and 110,000 Out of Home sites.
