    • Yes! Our competitions run across our entire network (AKA the Go Loud network).

How much does it cost to enter?

How and when do I enter?

    • Listen on air for full details of when entries open and when to get your entry in by. (Entries are charged at €2.50 plus a standard network message. You must be over 18 to enter. Full terms are online at HTTPS://BAUERMEDIA.IE/CASH-MACHINE-TERMS-CONDITIONS/).

Is there a limit on how often I can enter?

    • You can enter our competitions a total of 12 times in aggregate across all our competitions during any 7 day period from Friday at 3pm to 3pm the following Friday. Your network provider may also impose limits on your ability to enter our competitions. Can I enter whilst I am on holiday?

    • Yes! As per the competition terms, entrants must have a mobile phone registered to a mobile network provider in the Republic of Ireland. Payments to winners will only be made to Irish bank accounts owned by the winner and subject to ID verification. Irish residents entering from abroad (whilst roaming) may incur further charges or even be unable to access premium SMS services, please consult your mobile networks for clarification.

What happens to my entry(ies) if the prize for any competition or round where there’s no guaranteed winner isn’t won?

  • If the prize for any competition or round where there’s no guaranteed winner isn’t won, all entries for that competition or round will be carried forward and automatically added to subsequent competitions or rounds until the prize is won. If you do buy more entries, you’ll receive confirmation of your additional entries – your confirmation will only confirm the additional entries you’ve bought but rest assured, entries from earlier competitions or round are still valid!”

Why will my message not send to 57557?

    • If you are having difficulties entering the competition, this could be an issue with your handset or mobile network provider.

    • Some android phones have premium SMS access turned off by default.
    • To enable premium SMS on latest android OS: 1. From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon. 2. Tap Settings > Apps & notifications > Advanced > Special access > Premium SMS access. 3. Tap Always allow.
    • You may need to check with your mobile phone network provider that there is not a bar in place for sending to premium rate numbers. Some network providers have this switched off as a default setting. We also encourage you to double check with them, as you often get a different response from different customer service reps.

Why can’t I enter?

    • If you are having difficulties entering the competition, this could be an issue with your handset or mobile network provider.
    • You may need to check with your mobile phone network provider that there is not a bar in place for sending to premium rate numbers. Some network providers have this switched off as a default setting. If you have previously entered and are now unable to, it is likely you may have reached a limit imposed by your network provider.Occasionally, network providers will disable premium rate numbers if they have not received ID or age verification from you.
    • We would also encourage you to double check with them, as you often get a different response from different customer service reps.
    • Furthermore, some android phones have premium SMS access turned off by default.
    • To enable premium SMS on latest android OS:
      1. From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
      2. Tap Settings > Apps & notifications > Advanced > Special access > Premium SMS access.
      3. Tap Always allow.

Why have I not received a confirmation message?

    • During busy times, there may be a delay in receiving confirmation messages due to congestion on mobile networks.

I believe I have been overcharged.

    • Our confirmation messages will state the number of entries you have paid for in the current round of the competition. We occasionally run 2 for 1 offers on entries, which means the number of entries accumulated may not be the number of times you have been charged.

What should I do if I want to stop receiving service updates via text?

    • You can opt out of receiving service updates via text by replying STOP to 57557. This is charged as a normal text message, usually around 10-15 cents depending on your network. (Some android phones do give a warning that it will be charged at premium rate, that is not the case for messages starting with STOP.)  You will need to opt out after each time you enter the competition.

If I win a cash prize, will I receive a same day payment?

    • When we announce the winner of any cash prize, the payment could be in your account on the same day we receive your details and documents provided they are received and verified before 3:55pm on the day.  Where payment by cheque is required, cheques may take at least 5 business days to clear.

What is your commitment to listener wellbeing?

    • We offer competitions, not gambling. Our competitions are strictly regulated by COMREG and operate within all the relevant guidelines of Coimisiún na Meán and the Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland.

    • We recognise that some listeners may enter our competitions more times than they can afford, which is why we have several safeguards in place.

    • These safeguards include a cap on the amount listeners can spend. You can enter a maximum of 12 times in aggregate across all our competitions via SMS in each Friday 3pm to Friday 3pm period.

    • If an entrant is concerned about the amount they are spending, they may wish to consider asking their mobile network to put a premium rate bar or a spending cap limit on their account. This will prevent them from entering premium rate competitions by text or will limit the amount that they can spend.

    • If requested by the owner of the phone, we can also restrict their number from entering. To avail of this please email sms@bauermedia.ie.

    • If you would prefer not to receive service updates, you can optout at any time by replying STOP to 57557 (standard network message) or by clicking  https://oo.fonix.com/gl  You must opt out each time you enter one of our competitions.

    • If a listener answers our call, and does not win the prize, we endeavour to contact the individual to advise them of the relevant services that may be available to them.
