SPIN, the number 1 music station in Dublin, has launched its Summer schedule which includes Newera joining the SPIN line up as well as a weekend of ‘Reliving Longitude’ as SPIN prepares to take its massive House Party stage to Marlay Park again next month. SPIN Summer Nights, hosted by hugely popular duo, Jamie & Shireen completes the new schedule, which kicks off on Monday, 27th May.
Newera, the dance duo of Ben Williams and Ben Durkan and best known for their hit track ‘Birds in the Sky’ will guest host SPIN’s Friday Night Residency (6-8pm) from next weekend with a two hour show packed with epic dance remixes, personally curated by them. Since they launched on the music scene last November, Newera have accumulated a staggering 100million views across all platforms while ‘Birds in the sky’ has reached over 20 Million streams on all platforms and counting.
SPIN’s Friday Night Residency has been home to a host of guest DJs, both Irish and International from Joel Corry to Welshy, all making big strides on the music scene.

SPIN is Official Radio Partner of the sold out festival and all across the June bank holiday, will throwback to last years Longitude with DJ sets, mixes and highlights from the SPIN House Party stage 2023 featuring Marty Guilfoyle, John Gibbons, Jen Payne and Welshy. SPIN listeners will also have a chance to get their hands on tickets to Longitude 2024.
SPIN is also rolling out ‘Summer Nights’ with Jamie & Shireen – every evening from 7pm, kicking off on Monday 27th May. Jamie and Shireen have been lighting up the weekends on SPIN for the past year and celebrated a major audience boost in the latest JNLR results, increasing their audience by almost 10,000 to bring their Saturday morning listenership to 41,000. Jamie & Shireen’s on air chemistry and chat has seen huge engagement on SPIN socials.
