Monday, 8th January: Today FM has announced two new additions to its weekend line-up. Kicking off this Saturday, January 13th, KC (Keith Cunningham) will host Saturdays 2-6pm, while Waterford native Emma Nolan takes the reins with her new 3 hour Sunday show (4-7pm) on Today FM.

One of the top radio presenters in the country, KC returns to Today FM after previously hosting the Today FM lunchtime slot back in 2012 and taking the show to new heights, before departing to Cork’s Red FM in 2014. A huge audience favourite, KC currently presents Breakfast on Red FM.

KC will bring his infectious personality and humour to his new Today FM weekend slot live from Cork and across Ireland, keeping you up to date with all the Saturday afternoon scores and bringing you the music you love. KC will take over the Saturday 2-6pm slot from Louise Cantillon, who launched her new show this week, as the host of Today FM Lunchtimes (Mon-Fri 12-2pm).

Today FM audiences will also be used to hearing Emma Nolan as she has been a regular on Today FM weekends. Emma is one-third of SPIN 1038’s daily breakfast show Fully Charged with Emma, Dave & Aisling. Emma will bring her likeable charm and upbeat energy to Today FM’s Sunday evenings, entertaining audiences as they end their weekends and prepare for the week ahead with plenty of craic and the music they love!

On hosting Saturday afternoons, Keith Cunningham said: “Working for Bauer Media I have the pleasure of waking up Cork on Air each weekday morning, and now I get to present a brand-new Saturday afternoon show on the mighty Today FM, a station I adore. Expect brilliant tunes, lots of craic and all the sport updates every Saturday from 2pm”

On her new weekend show on Today FM, Emma Nolan said: “Today FM has always had the most impressive talent line-up in radio in Ireland and I’m delighted to be joining the team. Sunday evening is a great time to be on the radio as I know from experience what it’s like to make that journey back to college or work from all corners of Ireland, so I’m looking forward to ensuring that there’s lots of fun and playing the music you love.”

Fyona Smith, Today FM Managing Editor said: “Today FM prides itself on having the best talent in Ireland and we are thrilled that KC & Emma Nolan join the Today FM team in 2024! KC will be live from our Cork studios and I am looking forward to him bringing his big personality, comedy and love of sport to Today FM Saturday afternoons. Emma Nolan brings her sharp wit and vivacious energy to every show and we can’t wait to hear Emma regularly on Today FM”
