Comedian Darren Conway and his fiancée Amy Corcoran launch a new weekly podcast as they get set to walk down the aisle
GoLoud, the home of Irish podcasting has today launched a new podcast ‘The Conways’, hosted by popular comedian Darren Conway and his fiancéeAmy Corcoran. Each week the young couple will share updates on their wedding planning journey and their relationship in general, as they prepare to say “I do”!
While Amy’s already thinking of colour schemes, venues and wedding bands, Darren, who also hosts the Stall It podcast with Joe McGucken, also a GoLoud production, is more focused on the cake and hiring Star Wars Stormtroopers as entertainment. Throughout the podcast the two will come together to make decisions on their big day.
Speaking about their new podcast, co–host Darren Conway said:
“We’re both so excited to get started on The Conways – I hope Amy does take my surname now or else it’s going to get very confusing!
I have no idea about planning a wedding, I never realised how much goes into it, so it’s great to sit down each week and talk it all out. We’re going to be spending the rest of our lives together, and having podcast is sort of like an introduction to marriage I hope.
When I proposed to Amy, I forgot to kneel down and she always slags me over it, so having everything recorded for the podcast should help make sure I don’t forget anything important on the day of the wedding.”
