In the past 2 years, GoLoud has added live events and experiences to its repertoire, selling out multiple live shows to tens of thousands of Irish people.

Launched in 2019, the GoLoud Podship has provided a launch pad for some incredible stories with podcasts including Invisible Threads, an eight-part series sharing the stories of older members of the LGBT community in rural Ireland and reflecting on their journey and The Belly of the Beast, which was released on the 100th anniversary of the death of Michael Collins and tells the fascinating story of Ned Broy, the double agent who helped Collins change the course of Irish history.

The GoLoud Podship is open for submissions from today (Thursday, 1st June) at www.goloudnow.com/podship – entries will close on Thursday, 22nd June after which an expert panel of judges will compile a shortlist of candidates.

Commenting on today’s launch, Kiela Brodigan, Digital Director for Bauer Media Audio Ireland commented:

“At GoLoud we are about nurturing and championing Irish talent and the Podship is a great way for us to do exactly that.  We support the successful new or experienced podcasters through the entire production journey and then at the end launch their podcast to our extensive audience across the Bauer network.  It’s a compelling opportunity for anyone who has a great idea but doesn’t know how to bring it to market and I can’t wait to see what this year brings!”
